The categories index groups fonts by classical typographic family — serif, sans-serif, display, handwriting, monospace — and is the right starting point when you have a stylistic intuition but not a name. The use-cases index filters the catalog by the job a typeface is being asked to do, which tends to be how working designers actually search.
