What we love hearing about
TypeCraft is a small project and we read every message that comes in. The most useful things you can tell us are: a font that is missing from the catalog and that you think we should add, a font page where the metadata is wrong or out of date, a broken link, a typo in one of our written descriptions, or a typeface category that you think deserves more nuance than we currently give it. We also love hearing about how designers actually use the directory in their working day — that kind of feedback drives most of the changes we make to the navigation and the filtering.
What we cannot help with
We are not the producers of the typefaces in the catalog and we cannot answer questions about the design history, technical implementation, or licensing of any specific font. For those, contact the type designer directly — the credits on each font page are the right starting point. We also cannot license fonts, sell fonts, customise fonts, or accept commissions for new typeface designs. If you need bespoke typography, the type designers in our catalog are the people to contact.
How to reach us
The fastest way to reach the project is by email. Until our public mailbox is announced on this page, please use the contact details published on the upstream google/fonts repository to report data issues at the source. Anything that is genuinely a TypeCraft issue — site bug, typo, broken link, missing page — can be filed against the project once the public issue tracker is live, which we will announce on this page when it goes up.
Press and partnerships
For press inquiries, podcast appearances, partnership proposals, or speaking invitations, please reach out via the same channel and mark your message clearly. We respond to press requests as quickly as our schedule allows, usually within one or two business days.
A note on response times
TypeCraft is maintained by a small group of designers and engineers in their spare time. We answer every message we receive, but we do not always answer quickly. If your issue is urgent — a critical bug, a serious data error, an actionable security report — please mark the subject line accordingly and we will prioritise it.
